All payments made through the CISCE payment gateway shall be governed by the following terms and conditions:
- The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (“CISCE”) shall not be responsible or liable for any payment that is not successfully credited to the designated account on account of incorrect, incomplete, or inaccurate information furnished by the payer. CISCE shall further not be liable in cases where the transaction is refused, declined, cancelled, or otherwise not authorized by the Net Banking service provider, credit card issuer, debit card issuer, bank, or any payment intermediary for any reason whatsoever.
- In the event of any payment authorization failure, refusal, or decline by the issuing bank or financial institution, CISCE shall not be under any obligation to notify the payer or transaction initiator of such non-processing or non-authorization. Users are advised to independently verify with their respective bank, card issuer, or payment service provider whether the transaction amount has been debited from their account.
- To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, CISCE shall not be liable for any loss, damage, liability, cost, or expense, whether direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive in nature, arising out of or in connection with:
- (a) the use of, inability to use, or interruption in access to this website or any linked website;
- (b) any delay, failure, error, omission, interruption, defect, or technical malfunction in the payment process or due to any reason beyond CISCE’s control;
- (c) reliance upon any material, content, information, or services made available through this website or any linked website, whether such liability arises under contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, statute, or otherwise, and irrespective of whether CISCE has been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the use of this website or payment gateway shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi.
